Every fact on this site comes from a source in the table below. We name the publisher, link the exact page, and show the date that page carries. Some sources, such as the App Store listing, show no fixed date. We mark those "Undated" and re-read them on every check instead.

How we re-check the facts

Before each update, a script re-reads FOMO's help centre, the App Store listing, the Google Play listing and DefiLlama. If FOMO's own text contradicts what this site says, the release stops. Nothing ships until we fix the contradiction. The "Checked" date at the top of every page moves only when every check below passes. The current checked date is 23 September 2026.

• Trading fees on every chain, against FOMO's own fees article.
• The referral code discount and the referrer's commission rate.
• The list of supported chains.
• Whether FOMO still states that it does not have copy trading.
• Perps fees and leverage limits.
• The rules for token verification.
• The App Store and Google Play listings.
• FOMO's trading volume and fees on DefiLlama.

Why FOMO's referral landing page is not proof

FOMO's referral landing page, fomo.family/r/<code>, shows the text "10% off fees" for any code. On 23 September 2026 we tested this with a made-up code. The page showed the same "10% off fees" text. A working landing page does not prove a code belongs to a real account.

We prove code ownership a different way: with the in-app Rewards screen. That screen shows the account's own referral link and its own referral banner. Only the account holder can open it. See the proof for our own code, vip10, on the about page.

How we survey FOMO codes online

We list the FOMO codes that other sites promote. We check each one against what FOMO actually pays. We find each code on a page that ranks in Google for a FOMO code search. We record the date of that search, then we write down the claim in that page's own words.

We then open FOMO's referral landing page for that code. Because the landing page shows the same text for every code, it cannot confirm a code works. It only shows what FOMO itself offers: 10% off, for any code. We name the host of each code. We do not link to it, and we do not call another person's code fake. How we score our FOMO review

Our review at is FOMO legit scores FOMO on five criteria:

• Fees and transparency
• Custody and security design
• Ease of use
• Cash-out options
• Support and regulation

Each criterion gets a score from 1 to 5, based on documented facts and our own captures from the app. The overall score is the average of the five criteria, to one decimal place. We never copy an App Store or Google Play rating into our score.

Where our screenshots come from

Two kinds of images appear on this site. Phone screenshots are FOMO's own App Store images. We label these as FOMO's images in the caption below each one.

Screenshots of the web app are our own captures from the real account vip10. The Rewards screen on the about page is one example. We blur account balances in every capture we make ourselves.
