FOMO vs Axiom: fees, chains and who each app suits (2026)

FOMO and Axiom both let a trader buy and sell tokens on Solana. They charge fees in different ways. FOMO's fee changes with order size. Axiom's fee changes with a trader's total volume on the platform. The numbers below use FOMO's published fee bands and Axiom's published cashback tiers.

Which is cheaper for your trade size

On Solana, Axiom is usually cheaper on small orders. FOMO is usually cheaper on large orders. Three rules cover every order size, from FOMO's fee bands and Axiom's cashback tiers.

• Under 47.50 USDC. FOMO charges 2% of the order, or a flat 0.10 USDC under 5 USDC. Every Axiom tier, from 0.95% down to 0.75%, is lower than 2%. Axiom's platform fee is lower at every tier in this range, before the priority fee Axiom users pay.
• 47.50 to 190 USDC. FOMO charges a flat 0.95 USDC. That beats Axiom's Wood tier once the order passes 100.00 USDC. It beats Axiom's Champion tier once the order passes 126.67 USDC. Below those points, Axiom is cheaper.
• 190 USDC and above. FOMO charges 0.50% (0.45% with a referral code). That is under Axiom's lowest net fee of 0.75%, so FOMO is cheaper here at every Axiom tier.

FOMO and Axiom platform fees on Solana orders, in USDC. Lower is cheaper. Axiom figures leave out the Solana priority fee Axiom users pay (default 0.001 SOL). FOMO covers that fee.

For example, a 75 USDC Solana order costs 0.95 USDC on FOMO. The same order costs 0.71 USDC on Axiom's Wood tier and 0.56 USDC on Axiom's Champion tier. Both Axiom tiers beat FOMO at this order size, because 75 USDC is below the 100.00 USDC crossover point.

The table covers Solana only. FOMO's other five chains are Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Ethereum and Robinhood Chain. On those chains, FOMO charges a flat 0.50% (0.45% with a code). The trader pays the network's own gas fee.

How the two apps differ

FOMO is a phone app with a web option, built around a social trading feed. Axiom is a browser-based trading platform built around one-click trades and wallet tracking. This section lists only what each app's own documentation states.

• Platform. FOMO runs on iPhone, Android and the web at fomo.family. Axiom is a browser-based trading platform, according to Axiom's docs.
• Sign-in and wallet. FOMO creates a non-custodial wallet automatically when you sign up with an Apple ID or Google account. There is no seed phrase to write down. Axiom's dashboard lets a trader add and switch between several wallets, according to Axiom's docs. The pages we checked do not state whether Axiom holds a user's keys.

Pick Axiom if

• Your Solana orders are usually under 100.00 to 126.67 USDC. Axiom's percentage fee costs less than FOMO's flat and 2% Solana bands in that range.
